Name: Jemma Krysa
D.O.B: 31st of May 1987
From: The small village of Tairgwaith, Carmarthenshire, South Wales, UK

Seventeen year old Jemme Krysa was discovered on the BBC Pop Idol Programme "Just Up Your Street". Her track on the television series album was described as sensational and was certainly the main reason for the majority of the sales of the album.

Her song "Baby" attracted major attention after it's first performance on BBC Radio and led to her not only being signed to the UK's Nutopia & dA Records label but also her first tour.

Jemma is a solo singer-songwriter and guitarist from the valleys of South West Wales and started playing guitar at the age of 10, singing at the age of 12 and began writing songs at 13.

Influenced by artists like Jewel, Jack Johnson, Alanis Morissette, Sheryl Crow, Jonatha Brooke, Damien Rice and many many more. Jemma's ambition is to become a successful artist in the music industry.

Her first album "Free Ride" is to be released later this year and she has just filmed the video for her first single which is the title track of the album.

Jemma has become known not only in Europe but also Australasia where she was invited to perform in the closing ceremony on the World Under 21's snooker championship.

A testament to her talent is the speed with which she has been embraced by the film industry having been invited to perform on soundtracks for "What goes around" with the track "Disgusting" and now the eagerly anticipated "The Nimbols".
